Libraries and Museums
Atlantic Cities | READ STORY
Two interactive maps, provided by Atlantic Cities, show the nation-wide population coverage of public libraries and museums. The data shows that, despite popular conceptions concerning fast-food culture, Americans still have better access to the library than to fast food.

USDA | READ STORY

Privacy in Young America
Pew Fact Tank | READ STORY
Young Americans are less bothered by compromises to privacy when the information at hand is being used for purposes of advertising or monetization. They do, however, retain strong concerns about intrusive monitoring programs, maintaining that privacy should be protected even in lieu of investigating potential threats to national security.

Rural Joblessness Numbers
Daily Yonder | READ STORY
This report by the Daily Yonder investigates the April unemployment statistics, showing that, while rural unemployment continues to decrease, very few new rural jobs have been created, and in the most rural American counties, there are fewer jobs now than there were this time last year.
