Headwaters Economics: SocioEconomic Profiles of Montana Counties
Profiles contain tables and figures that illustrate long-term trends in population; employment and personal income by industry; average earnings; business development; retirement and other non-labor income; commuting patterns; agriculture; and earnings by industry.

State of Montana's Department of Health and Human Services: County Health Profiles Printable Reports
The Public Health & Safety Division publishes the Montana County Health Profiles every other year, based on the most recent available data. The profiles give health providers, planners, and other policy-makers consistent data for identifying health needs and evaluating plan and programs.

University of Montana Bureau of Business and Economic Research: The Pacific Northwest Regional Economic Analysis Project
This program allows viewers to create graphic trends analysis of local economic indicators and generate shift-share analysis results to diagnose local employment growth. Viewers can download customized tabulations of economic data for all Montana counties based on U.S. Bureau of Economic Analysis (BEA) data.

The Northwest Area Foundation: Indicators Website
This site provides information on the most recent indicators including local population characteristics, economic well-being, and health at a variety of geographic scales including state and county, selected communities, reservations, and tribes in the Northwest Area Foundation's eight-state region.

State of Montana's Natural Resource Information System: Montana Geographic Information Clearinghouse
Described as the most comprehensive collection of geospatial data for Montana, NRIS actively supports GIS coordination in the state and provides value-added products and services to a diverse community of users.

State of Montana's Census and Economic Information Center: Census and Economic Information Center Data Maps
This site provides maps on poverty, population, housing and residence, education, economics and business, disability, cities/towns, age and general interest.

State of Montana's Department of Health and Human Services: Montana County Health Profiles
The Interactive Charts and Mapping Tool allows viewers to visually compare data across counties and for the entire State, providing the opportunity to see where a county ranks in the "bigger health picture."

Rural Policy Research Institute: The Community Informatics Resource Center
Issues impacting rural America can be visualized, analyzed, queried and mapped. In addition to internet mapping, CIRC provides other data management and application development services.
